See an eco-friendly mobile home with IKEA furniture
Fully equipped mobile camper costs £ 50,000
The American trailer manufacturer Escape Homes has unveiled a new eco-friendly mobile home project, Tiny Home. The inner space of the camper is designed for two people and is fully furnished with furniture from IKEA.
The two-axle Tiny Home trailer is based on another model of the American manufacturer – Vista Boho XL. The living area of the mobile home is 17.3 square meters. In this area, a bedroom, a living room, a dining area, as well as a kitchen and a bathroom were placed. Since the company is positioning the new project as an environmentally friendly form of housing, engineers placed solar panels on the roof of the camper, which provide the operation of water heaters and lighting.
The interior of the Tiny House is furnished with furniture from the IKEA catalog. The Swedish manufacturer installed a recycled plastic kitchen set, a fold-out wooden table, a sleeping bed with built-in drawers, hanging shelving, a kitchen cabinet and a bathroom. In addition, the designers painted the interior walls of the camper white to visually increase the space.

The construction of a stylish mobile home took six months, of which two months were spent by the designers to study the IKEA catalog and the subsequent selection of furniture. According to the head of Escape Homes Dan Dobrowolski, in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, mobile campers have become very much in demand among people who want to live in isolation. Therefore, such a collaboration with a Swedish company can become a vector for the development of an environmentally friendly and secluded lifestyle.
